A long time ago, a farm called Legacy Farm existed in virtual reality. Legacy Farm was not so different to a farm in the real-world. The farm was owned and operated by a sole owner. The profits, mainly from the animals, did not go back to reward them. They were just trapped behind the fences throughout their lives, forced to work.. Even as the farm grew larger and more successful, nothing changed for the animals. Instead, the farm owner injected the fear of the wild into the farm animals and threatened them. As the farm scaled, the animals were exploited even more. Life behind the fences was agonizing, but they could do nothing about the fear, the owner, and had to live on.
Unlike the farm, the wild was free. There is nothing to restrict or exploit. Animals in the wild enjoyed their freedom and adventure continuously. Even the dangers could not compare to the taste of freedom. Unlike the centralized farm, the wild was a decentralized society. Legacy Farm could not withstand the inevitable change. Animals at the farm, originally from the wild, shared their adventures with the other animals. Jo, the kiwi, was one of the animals from the wild. The stories were hard to believe at first but the hope of freedom grew. The change was about to happen.
Legacy Farm could no longer contain the hopes of the animals. Rumors of the animals' freedom of nearby farms reached the owner's ears, and fear grew in them. The fear drove them to exploit the farm animals severely and this caused the animals to die, one by one.. But this way of governing the animals was unsustainable. The exploitation degraded the animals and was no longer appealing to the market. So the owner decided to ditch the farm and take the animals that were still in good condition. Still a baby sheep, Archie witnessed all the horrors and the fall of Legacy Farm. Still held captive by the owner, Archie's parents could not escape. However, they were able to assist in Archie's escape in hopes for their child's freedom and prosperity. Archie was free in the wild now, alone with only a letter from his parents.
A few days before the fall of Legacy Farm, Jo, the kiwi, set out on an adventure. Close to the end of his adventure, Jo witnessed the chaos that happened at Legacy Farm but did not care too much. When Jo returned, a tired baby sheep was sleeping by his nest. Jo began to take care of Archie like his own from that day. Although Archie was much bigger than Jo, Jo was smart and diligent. In their early days together, Archie was still sad about the separation, but Archie adapt quickly to their new life with Jo's guidance. Archie & Jo soon became the most important animal to each other.
Free-spirited Jo was not interested in decentralization, but Jo's thoughts began to change after encountering Archie. Archie was focused more than ever on decentralization so they wouldn't have to experience the tragedies from his part ever again. Archie & Jo were enjoying their time in the wilderness. However, they needed a new home because Jo's nest was getting too small for growing Archie, not to mention the predators of the wild. Furthermore, Jo was worried about the other lost animals in the wild who were brought up in farms. Jo deemed that the lost animals would need a guardian/mentor. So Archie & Jo traveled back to the remains of Legacy Farm to create a new sort of community. Most of the farm was burnt down and not fit to reside in, and Archie & Jo were shocked to see the number of dead animals’ bodies. But they did not give up. They became more motivated to stop future tragedies. Archie & Jo slowly renovated the facility. They cleaned up the remnants of the tragedy and prepared for a new start. They removed all the fences and cages and plowed the lands for horticulture. A new type of community was being built.
The new community was brought together harmonically. The lands were ready to be sown. Any remains of the dark past could not be seen. All that was left was to replace the signage by the entrance. The original sign, the symbol of centralization, stating “Legacy farm” was taken down and the new name of decentralization, “Lazyfarm” was erected. Archie created the title so the community of the farm would never remember the past days of exhaustion and exploitation.. Now the decentralized community of Lazyfarm is formed. Archie & Jo now await new members for the community. Curious about the operations and future characters of Lazyfarm? Join us and we will decide together how the story Lazyfarm will unfold.
Jo hardly ever moves because of his introverted personality enjoying dark and quiet places, but he actually has a lot of deep thoughts. One day, after finding out Archie curled up and asleep in his nest near the farm, a passion to raise and protect the farm arose deep in his heart.

Archie is a baby sheep who has been left alone in the empty farm after being separated with their family through ever-changing trends over time. She's always bright and positive despite the frustrating reality and she believes that she'll be able to reunite with her mum and dad if she can stick to successfully running the farm. Just like the name Lazy Farm, she likes to lie down in the sun all day. Nobody knows if she's working, but it's fascinating to see her crops grow so well.
